Installation Instructions:

  1. First you must sign up for BMD.NET Internet service online at  http://www.bmd.net/html/access_numbers.html , in person or by phone (270) 472-0493 Ext 16 or (800) 928-0401 Ext 16
  2. Download the software from http://www.bmd.net/tx/InternetSetup.exe   or install from CD.
  3. Once the software is downloaded find it on your computer and double click the icon that says BMD Internet or click on the Install button from the CD menu.
  4. A window will pop up with BMD.NET's Acceptable Use Policy. Please read the Acceptable use policy and click the “Accept” button if you accept. If you do not accept you can not use our services.
  5. A configuration box should pop up on your screen with several fields to fill in. Fill in each of these fields using the information for each field provided below.
  6. Once you complete entering all the items in each of the fields, please double check to make sure each is accurate. If any of these fields are incorrect you may not be able to connect to the Internet or send or receive email properly.
  7. Click the “OK” button.
  8. You will now see a window that says “Please Wait” with several items that are installing.
  9. You should now have an ICON on your desktop named BMD Internet. Double click on this ICON to connect to the Internet.
  10. Once connected you can open Internet Explorer to surf the Internet and read your email.
  11. If you signed up for the Propel Accelerator just follow the instructions when installing it.

Configuration Fields to enter:

Remove Existing Dial-Up and Email Accounts: We suggest you check this box. This will make the correct setting and installation for you.
